red blood cells and autoimmune response

Donate

Do you know someone with an autoimmune disease? If you do, you understand the challenges that affect millions of people around the globe. Though advances have been made in treatment of Type 1 diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn’s disease, and dozens of other autoimmune disorders, further research is still needed.

Scientists investigate autoimmune diseases with several goals – finding a cause, preventing the disorder, and controlling autoimmune responses. We believe many approaches to research must be pursued to fully comprehend the body’s immune system. We support the curiosity and creativity of our investigators, who are encouraged to follow new and unexplored paths.

The Alles Institute employs investigators rather than giving grants to specific projects, allowing its team members to sustain momentum as they explore, innovate, and collaborate for the benefit of the research. Investigators share findings with colleagues around the world to spark new connections between areas of research, and to keep an open dialogue about novel approaches to research.

The Alles Institute provides an avenue for focused giving. Your contribution directly supports basic and clinical research, and with each advancement in autoimmune research, we are able to provide potentially life-changing knowledge to a broad community. Even a small donation can make a big difference.
